Strukturen im Sand - gebildet nur durch den Wind in den Dünen von Maspalomas (Playa del Inglés - Gran Canaria)

EDIT: Da ich nun schon öfter gefragt wurde wie das funktioniert bzw. ob der Stein sich bewegt hat ... nun ich bin eigentlich nur der Fotograf - gebildet wurde das alles durch die Natur! Ich versuche es zu erklären: Der Wind streift gleichmäßig über die Dünen und trägt dabei den Sand überall gleich ab - es entstehen diese "Wellen". Trifft der Wind nun auf einen Stein - muß er sich "um diesen Stein herrum drücken" - seitlich vom Stein ist die Luft also komprimierter. Nach dem Stein "drängt" die Luft wieder in den Bereich zurück und es enstehen Unterdrücke und Tubulenzen - ähnlich wie bei Autos oder Flugzeugen ... evtl. habt ihr schon einmal einen Windkanalversuch gesehen und wie der Rauch nach einem Objekt aussieht. Diese Turbulenzen sorgen dafür das mehr Sand aufgewirbelt und mitgerissen wird als neben dem Stein.

So ... ich hoffe das ist nun gut erklärt - auf Englisch kommt es evtl. mal nach wenn ich Zeit habe

"Sandstrukturen Nr.2" is a picture of a desert - simple and yet very catching.

The brilliant idea of the play with sunlight makes the picture way more interesting! Also the structures of the sand give the photo some kind of movement as well as the shadows of the stones.
The play with the wind matches the play with the sunlight in a very soothing way. Also the shadow of one of the rocks looks like the shape of a heart after taking a second look at it. You also get the feeling it's a neverending desert, but still it shows not the dreadful and terrifying aspects of a desert, but the lovely and very wonderful ones.

A very perfect photograph which doesn't need any manipulation. Over all it's a great capture!
